education combining both practical and theoretical learning to ensure
that you are able to put into practice the theories of management
that you learn in the classroom.
Both institutions are fully accredited and enjoy collaborations
with American and British universities, as well as memberships in
leading trade associations.

your career goals within the global hospitality, tourism and culinary
fields.
Our institutions are specialized in these areas, and offer you programs
at a level to suit your current situation -- from shorter professional
development certificates, all the way to fullyaccredited Bachelor’s
and Master’s Degree programs.
Programs at both institutions incorporate periods of paid industry
placements, thus enriching your classroom learning with real-life
work experience.
Transfer of credits and additional continuing education opportunities
are among the many benefits available to you as a result of the
academic partnership between ALPINE CENTER and
DCT, such as:
When you are enrolled in ALPINE CENTER’s
Culinary Arts Program, you may choose to transfer to DCT
in your 4th semester. This will allow you to earn a DCT
Advanced Diploma in European Culinary Management in only six months,
followed by six months of paid Swiss internship.
If you begin your studies in Switzerland and first earn your DCT
Advanced Diploma in European Culinary Management, you may then decide
to transfer to ALPINE CENTER to complete the requirements
of a Bachelor’s Degree (Hons) in Culinary Arts Management
within about one year.
After you graduate from the Bachelor’s Degree or Pre-MBA
Post Graduate Diploma programs at DCT, you will
have the option to transfer to ALPINE CENTER to
earn your Master’s Degree in an accelerated time frame.
GEA Activity in Eastern Europe
Global Educational Alliance is a constant member of annual Work Shops, Scientific Conferences, and International Exhibitions in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Moldova, Belarus, maintains strong collaboration with Local High Educational Institutions.
DCT and the Alpine Center proud of their membership in the Ukrainian Hotel Association and affiliate themselves with the Hotel Association in Russia.
GEA is an active participant of Educational Fairs in Ukraine, Russia and other Western European countries. The Alliance has a huge chain of Agencies at the region. The most important annual Fairs GEA participated in Kiev together with the regional representatives during the year 2006 are “Modern Education-2006” February 15-17, International Fair “Education and Career-2006” April 7-9, Career Day April 22, International Travel and Tourism Fair-2006 October 11-13 as well as other educational and scientific events in Kiev, Kharkov, Zaporozhe, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Novosibirsk, Rostov on Don, in particular.
More then 50 students from Ukraine, Russia and other Eastern European countries successfully graduated from DCT and the Alpine Center and are building their careers in all fields of hospitality, tourism and culinary art all over the world.
In the upcoming year DCT and Alpine Center are planning to continue their marketing activity at the region and will provide Ukrainian and Russian students with new advanced programs and interesting offers.

DCT is located in the charming
village of Vitznau, directly on the shores of the famous
Lake Lucerne, just 20 Km from the city of Lucerne. The location
of the School in this important tourism location is of enormous
value to you as a student, because you will be able to observe
and experience in the city and its environs all the various
hospitality businesses that your lecturers discuss in classes.

ALPINE CENTER is located
in Glyfada, an up-scale suburb of Athens situated along
the western coast of Attica on the Aegean Sea. ALPINE CENTER’s
programs of study are conducted on the premises of a real
hotel where you will be both a guest and an operator at
the same time. For many students, this is the initial professional
opportunity to understand first-hand the essence of all
service industries: customer-focused quality.

On the DCT campus, you
will stay in a double or triple hotel-style room. All rooms
are equipped with a private toilet, bathtub and shower,
color television, direct-dial telephone and free wireless
internet access 24/7. All rooms have either a refrigerator
or a
separate kitchen, and bed sheets, pillows, and blankets
are provided. Deluxe double, single and deluxe single rooms
are available in limited numbers and at an extra charge.

In keeping with the traditional Swiss philosophy
of blending classroom theory with practical application
and management competencies, ALPINE CENTER’s
programs of study are conducted on the premises of the Palmyra
Beach Hotel. You will be provided with linen and towels.
All rooms have private bathrooms, phones, and televisions,
and are covered within the ALPINE CENTER’s
wireless LAN.

| Paid Work Experience and
a High Employment Rate |

| A paid industry
training internship is a requirement of all of the Diploma
and Degree Programs at DCT and at ALPINE
CENTER.
This real-world experience
will give you the opportunity to apply practically what you
learn during your time on campus, and also will help you to
develop necessary operational skills so that you can start
your career after graduation in a very competent and confident
way. Both DCT and ALPINE CENTER
assist students in matching their requirements for practical
experience with local industry needs as closely as possible
to ensure that students gain the maximum benefit from this
valuable industry experience. |

both the students’ competitive advantage as well as
the dynamic efforts of our Career & Placement Offices,
which help students launch their careers in many ways.
Examples of this assistance
